The unemployment of women with physical disabilities in Ghana: issues and recommendations

Unemployment among persons with disabilities is high. The situation is worse for women with disabilities as they experience multiple disadvantages on account of gender and disability. The condition for women with disabilities in Ghana could be more complicated, given the intersection of disability, gender, poverty, cultural beliefs and practices. As employment provides not only income for women with disabilities but opportunities for social participation and increases psychological well-being as well as self-esteem, it is imperative to remove barriers that hinder their employment. The current study examines issues associted with the unemployment of women with physical disabilities in Tamale, Ghana, and makes recommendations to policy-makers and practitioners in order to improve the condition of persons with disabilities in general, and particularly women with disabilities.     

The social experience of physically disabled Australian university students

Research on the university experience of disabled students has focused on barriers in learning and teaching, while the social world of university has as yet gained little attention as a distinctive object of study. Here we examine social experience and socially imposed restrictions through the lenses of social capital and self-concept. A qualitative study investigated the formation of social capital and changes in self-concept amongst physically disabled Australian university students. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analysed using a grounded theory approach. The study found weak social attachments at university, but stronger attachments outside. Self-concept did not appear to be structured in any direct way by university-generated social capital, partly as a consequence of its weakness.     

Perceptions of Domestic Violence in Lesbian Relationships: Stereotypes and Gender Role Expectations

In light of evidence suggesting that violence between lesbian couples is oftentimes dismissed as “mutually combative,” expectations that support this perception were examined. Participants (N = 287) evaluated a domestic violence situation within the context of a lesbian partnership. As physical appearance may be used to support gender- and heterosexist-based stereotypes relating to lesbians, participants evaluated a domestic violence incident wherein the physical appearance of both the victim and perpetrator were systematically varied. Overall, women perceived the situation as more dangerous than did men. However, among women, the plausibility of the victim's claim, and blame assigned to the perpetrator and victim, varied as a function of the physical appearance of the couple. Implications of this research as well as future directions are discussed.     

自然伽马能谱测井谱解析方法研究

自然伽马能谱测井是重要的核测井方法之一，其地面信息处理系统的关键是实测谱解析技术。低分辨率是自然伽马能谱测井仪的固有弱点，且测井过程中信噪比较低，造成测井置信度不高。从自然伽马能谱测井原理出发，通过中海油实验数据处理后获得的放射性核素的标准计数率谱，对自然伽马能谱测井4种传统数据处理方法的优劣进行了对比，初步探讨了将灵敏度高、空间分辨率好的直接解调方法移植到自然伽马能谱测井谱解析中，为自然伽马能谱测井谱解析方法的选择提供了依据。     

河北工程大学学生体质与健康调研结果分析

高校学生是高层次的知识型人才,肩负着社会主义现代化建设的重任,他们的体质与健康状况好坏事关我国全民族的健康素质。此次调研结果表明:河北工程大学19-22岁汉族学生的部分身体形态发育指标略有所提高;身高标准体重统计数据结果显示正常体重比例偏低;四个组别的肺活量均值较2005年全国平均水平有较大涨幅;部分身体素质指标下降幅度较大,男生引体向上的完成结果并不尽如人意。针对部分指标下降的原因进行了讨论,并提出了相应的合理化建议,为相关部门提供参考。     

Interplay between Friends' Aggression and Friendship Quality in the Development of Child Aggression during the Early School Years

The aim of this study was to investigate the unique and combined role of friendship quality and friends' aggression in regard to the persistence of young children's physical aggression from kindergarten to grade 2. The sample included 1555 children (808 girls) assessed annually using teacher ratings. Two theoretical perspectives (i.e., the social learning and the social bonding perspectives) served as frameworks to guide the analyses and interpret the results. In line with the social learning perspective, friends' aggression was related to a significant increase in children's physical aggression. However, in line with the social bonding perspective, good friendship quality played both a compensatory and a protective role, by, respectively, reducing children's initial level of physical aggression and by mitigating, albeit marginally, the associations between friends' and children's physical aggression. These results suggest that fostering a positive relationship between friends in the early school years may decrease physical aggression even if the friends are aggressive.

浅析笛卡尔的二元论和西方近代哲学中的身心关系问题

心身问题或心物问题(mind-body problem),是关于心理的东西(the mental)的本体论地位,本质以及与身体的相互关系的问题。在西方认识史上,先哲们对这个问题分别给予了缜密思考后的回答。本文首先回到西方近代心灵哲学上一个颇有影响的心灵观,从笛卡尔的实体二元论说起,分析其内在逻辑矛盾产生的根源和面临的困境,再集中探讨与笛卡尔同时代的哲学家们对其观点的改进或改造,并逐一做出梳理和短评。     

不同体育选修项目对体质监测结果的影响分析

本文通过运用文献资料、体质测试和数理统计方法,对包头师范学院08级不同选修班学生的选修前、后测试成绩进行对比分析,得出结论:篮球、排球、足球与健美操选修的同学,肺活量成绩明显提高,有效地改善了呼吸系统的功能;健美操选修提高了学生的柔韧性水平;其他没有明显的提高,耐力水平都有下降的趋势。     

普通高校大学生体育锻炼态度影响因素的调查研究——以长沙市大学生为例

采用文献资料法、问卷调查法、数据统计法等,对长沙市普通高校大学生体育锻炼态度进行调查研究,结果表明：1.大学生的锻炼态度表现在八个维度的得分上都比较高,说明长沙市普通高校大学生体育锻炼态度普遍良好。2.大学生的体育锻炼态度受性别差异的影响因素,男生的体育锻炼态度普遍比女生要强。3.体育锻炼态度很大程度上影响了锻炼者的锻炼行为,而其锻炼行为又影响了体育成绩。
